Research Interests: I am interested in qualitative research that explores sexuality and intimate partner violence. More specifically, my research investigates conceptual issues in sexuality, sexual ambivalence, risk and protective factors for victimization, and elements of power and control within relationships. My previous research focused on resilience and strengths in rural Appalachia.
