Research Interests: Alli’s current research explores how individuals navigate situations where they feel ambivalent about sex with a specific focus on how ambivalence changes across time and what strategies individuals employ to avoid sex. Her larger research interests include sexuality, consent, body image, and gender. Her previous research has included violence & victimization, strengths, resilience, and coping, with a specific focus on rural Appalachian populations.
